Terms of service

1. What VialBook is

VialBook is an iPhone app for keeping a private log of medicines you take, such as GLP-1 and TRT. It is informational software. It is not a medical device and it does not provide medical advice. It never suggests a dose.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use VialBook. By installing or using the app, you confirm you are at least 18 and able to enter into this agreement.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the medical decisions you make. VialBook is a tool, not a clinician. Talk to your doctor about your treatment.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your device and Apple Account, and for keeping backups if you want them.

4. What VialBook is not responsible for

  • The outcome of any decision you make based on the app.
  • The accuracy of values you enter or restore from a backup.
  • Data loss if you delete the app, lose your device, or do not keep a backup. VialBook keeps your data only on your phone.
  • Interruptions to Apple services that VialBook depends on, such as purchases.

5. Subscriptions and billing

  • VialBook Pro is billed by Apple through the App Store, not by VialBook directly.
  • Price, free trial, renewal, and cancellation terms are shown in the App Store purchase sheet before you buy. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it renews.
  • The free trial is 7 days. Nothing is charged when it ends on its own.
  • Manage or cancel in the iPhone Settings app, under your name, then Subscriptions.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
  • The free version stays available without billing.

6. If you cancel Pro

  • Your data stays on your phone, untouched. Nothing is deleted.
  • Free features keep working, including logging, reminders, hide names, backup, and CSV export.
  • Free covers 1 active medicine and the last 30 days of history. Extra medicines are paused, not removed, and older history shows as a locked row until you return to Pro.

7. Intellectual property

VialBook, its logo, wordmark, and code are owned by Lance Sessions. You receive a non-transferable license to use the app for personal purposes.

8. Acceptable use

  • Use VialBook for personal tracking. Do not present it as a medical service or sell access to it.
  • Do not reverse engineer the app or interfere with how it works, or try to bypass the free plan limits.

9. Termination

You can stop using VialBook at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend access for clear misuse, such as fraud or abuse.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

VialBook is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted or error free, or that it fits any medical purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the most recent subscription period, or $100 USD, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California. Your local consumer protection laws still apply where they cannot be waived.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
