Questions, answered.
Short answers first. If yours is not here, email us and a person replies.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no account, no server, and nothing leaves your phone. Your log lives on the device. Back it up to a file you keep, and restore adds what is missing without overwriting anything.
Does it tell me what dose to take?
Never. VialBook is a tracking tool. It shows the numbers you typed and the history you logged. Your doctor decides your dose. The injection site is a suggestion based on what you used last, not a prescription.
What does it cost?
Free covers one medicine and the last 30 days of history. Pro is $3.99 a month or $28.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial. Backup and export are always free.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Older history shows as a locked row until you come back, extra medicines are paused rather than removed, and you can export everything at any time.
Which medicines work?
Anything you take on a schedule or as needed: GLP-1 pens and vials, TRT vials and pens, pills, and more. Doses can be mg, mcg, or syringe units, with any custom value.
Can I hide the medicine name?
Yes. Hide names swaps the name for a neutral label in the app, on reminders, and on the Lock Screen, so a dose notification only says a dose is due.
What if I miss a dose?
It shows in amber with a Resolve button. There are no streaks, no percentages, and no red guilt screens. You can add, edit, or backdate any past day without losing history.
Is there an Android version?
Not right now. VialBook is built natively for iPhone.
Common jobs
- Back up my data
- In the app, tap You, then Back up to a file. Keep the file anywhere you like: Files, iCloud Drive, email it to yourself.
- Restore on a new phone
- In the app, tap You, then Restore from a backup file. Restore only adds what is missing, matched by id, and never overwrites what you already have.
- Export to a spreadsheet
- In the app, tap You, then Export, then CSV. Always free.
- Delete everything
- In the app, tap You, then Delete all data. This clears everything VialBook keeps on the phone and cannot be undone, so make a backup first if you want one.
- Cancel Pro
- Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Nothing in VialBook is deleted when you cancel.
